Our Vessels
Quintex Explorer Trophy
Our customized 4.2m Quintrex is a pleasure to fish from. It has all the latest technology to help us locate and catch fish including: Garmin Livescope Sounder, live well tank, Minn Kota electric motor and/or a Yamaha 40hp outboard.
The stealthy electric motors allow us to approach wildlife silently making the Explorer Trophy a great asset for our Bird Watching Tours.
The Kayaks
Over the years I have paddled, pedaled, surfed and sailed many different types of vessels. Sit on tops, sit insides, inflatables, canoes, kayaks and even float tubes. I am always open to new and better ways to go fishing. But when I discovered Native Watercraft and the ‘Propel’ drive system, I knew straight away I had found something truly remarkable.
Imagine a vessel that needs no petrol, no electricity and no wind. It can be maneuvered forwards or backwards quietly with the feet and the hands are left free to concentrate on the fishing. A vessel that travels fast, tracks straight but turns on a dime when you need it to. A vessel that is so light it can be easily loaded into the car, carried to the waters edge and yet still be stable enough to fish from standing. A vessel that is tough, durable and generally designed, built and engineered to the highest standard of quality. Well I am pleased to say that I have found just that in the Slayer 10 Propel.
The Propel drive system is simply ingenious. Made from marine grade aluminium and stainless steel the drive system is powered by an aluminium propeller. The kayaker is able to pedal either forwards or backwards in an instant without having to pull a string or even lift a finger. This ability to maneuver both forwards and backwards, hands free, cannot be underestimated when it comes to fishing. There is simply nothing else on the market that comes even close.
The drive system alone was enough to convince me they were the vessel of choice for my bass fishing charters. But the features don’t end there. The ‘First Class Seats’ add an arm chair ride to the days fishing. They are fully adjustable and offer an elevated prospective. I have also fitted out each kayak with top quality equipment including; Lowrance fish finders, rod holders, tackle box, pliers/scissors, landing net and quality rods and reels.
Come and try out these amazing kayaks in one of the most beautiful wetlands in Australia. I will guide you throughout the day, offering all the local tips and advice needed for a great day on the water. Book your guided kayak Bass Fishing Charter today.
